A few steps from San Marco square, the Academy Gallery home to Michelangelo's David, is a symbol of the Renaissance beauty in Florence.

Near the Carolus Hotel is the characteristic and famous outdoor market of San Lorenzo, where there is a large selection of leather goods, clothing and gifts.

Inside San Lorenzo church guests can visit the Medici Chapels, the monumental crypt of the Medici family.
